Three-cluster Nuclear Molecules
نویسنده
چکیده
A three-center phenomenological model able to explain, at least from a qualitative point of view, the difference in the observed yield of a particle-accompanied fission and that of binary fission was developed. It is derived from the liquid drop model under the assumption that the aligned configuration, with the emitted particle between the light and heavy fragment is obtained by increasing continuously the separation distance, while the radii of the light fragment and of the light particle are kept constant. During the first stage of the deformation one has a two-center evolution until the neck radius becomes equal to the radius of the emitted particle. Then the three center starts developing by decreasing with the same amount the two tip distances. In such a way a second minimum, typical for a cluster molecule, appears in the deformation energy. Examples are presented for Pu parent nucleus emitting α-particles and C in a ternary process.

Collective Modes of Tri-Nuclear Molecules
A geometrical model for tri-nuclear molecules is presented. An analytical solution is obtained provided the nuclei, which are taken to be prolately deformed, are connected in line to each other. Furthermore, the tri-nuclear molecule is composed of two heavy and one light cluster, the later sandwiched between the two heavy clusters. A basis is constructed in which Hamiltonians of more general co...

Chemical shielding of closed-shell molecules using Extended Coupled-cluster theory
In this paper we report calculation of the nuclear magnetic shielding constant using extended coupled cluster response approach. We present the results for the HF, BH, CO and N 2 molecules. These results show importance of correlation corrections for the shielding constant.
متن کاملDetermination of e ω , e e x ω , e B , and e α using potential energy functions for heteronuclear diatomic molecules via spreadsheet program
In order to represent the potential energy function over the whole range of R, many potentialenergy functions have been proposed. In the present paper, we employ many potential energyfunctions, to use Numerov method for solving the nuclear Schrödinger equation for the IFmolecule, as an example of a heteronuclear diatomic molecules. Then we determine thespectroscopic constants eω , e e x ω , e B...
متن کاملI-5: Fifteen Years after Dolly: The Perspectives on Cellular Reprogramming
s:1202:"It is a truly amazing time to developmental biology. During recent decades, three important breakthroughs have been developed: (i) isolation of stem cells from embryo, (ii) animal cloning by nuclear transfer (NT), and (iii) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS). Considering these three approaches of "Cellular Reprogramming", it seems that the required elements for cell therapy now ex...
متن کاملMolecular phylogeny of the family Araceae as inferred from the nuclear ribosomal ITS data
The internal transcribed spacer regions of nuclear ribosomal DNA are widely used to infer phylogenetic relationships in plants. In this study, it was obtained the ITS sequences from 24 samples of Araceae in Iran, representing 3 genera: Arum L., Biarum Schott. and Eminium (Blume) Schott. Phylogenetic analyses were conducted by Bayesian inference and maximum Parsimony methods. Cladistic analysis ...
